Description
Introduces students to the core aspects of the clinical mental health counseling specialty of the counseling profession, including its history and theoretical foundations, credentialing standards, common practices, common work settings, reimbursement procedures, and program development. Special areas of focus include suicide assessment and prevention, crisis intervention, and setting up a counseling practice.
