Description

This course examines the teacher’s role in creating and sustaining classroom communities that support student growth and development. Emphasis is placed on school-community and family outreach to create an environment rich in diversity that promotes knowledge and respect for all cultures, exceptionalities, and ethnicities through curriculum, teacher collaboration, and working with all stakeholders to develop the whole child.
Prerequisite: Acceptance into TEP
