Description

This course involves the study of human information processing, including cognitive psychology; cognitive neuroscience; perception; attention; types of memories including short-term memory, working memory, and long-term memory; complex cognitive processes, including the encoding, storage and retrieval of information, reasoning, problem solving, decision-making; language; and higher mental abilities, including judgment, decisions, and reasoning.
Prerequisite: PY 150 and three additional credit hours of psychology
