    Description

    This course offers an overview of the fundamental concepts and major issues related to family and marriage, including the sociological, psychological, and cultural aspects of these foundational social institutions. Students will explore concepts such as friendship, dating, love, mate selection, intimacy, parenthood, family strengths and challenges, family abuse and problems, and divorce. Cultural diversity in the family structure will be discussed.
