    Description

    This course is intended to introduce and familiarize students with the concept of multicultural psychology. Students will learn about a broad range of psychological topics associated with multicultural issues and explore the meaning and value of a range of concepts such as diversity, multiculturalism, culture, ethnicity, stereotype, discrimination, prejudice, oppression, racism, microaggression, and privilege. Next, students will apply these concepts to various marginalized groups in the United States.
