Description

Emphasizes direct patient care, application of clinical guidelines, and hands-on experience in healthcare settings. This clinical course includes 240 hours of direct clinical experience. It exposes the FNP student to a health care setting that manages the adult and geriatric populations. Students will conduct assessments and develop a plan of care, under the direct supervision of the preceptor.
Prerequisite: NU 770, NU 772, NU 773
Corequisite: NU 781
