Description

This course explores the intersection of policy and ethics, focusing on addressing the diverse needs of populations across various healthcare settings. Students will explore the complex landscape of healthcare policies and regulations, examining their impact on providing care to different demographic groups and underserved populations. The influence of socio-cultural factors on healthcare and ethical considerations inherent in healthcare decision-making processes, including patient autonomy, justice, and equity issues, will be explored, Students will analyze contemporary healthcare dilemmas, evaluate ethical implications, and propose informed solutions.
