Description
This course will examine the political, social, economic, cultural, and technological changes that took place over the course of a single decade in United States history. Special attention will given to how the decade is remembered in history and how looking back at a decade may allow for nostalgic memory of the decade can be challenged through a deeper dive into the key historical moments, people, and events of the decade. For history majors, this will be categorized under the Americas concentration.
