    Description

    This course introduces students to technical and professional writing. Students will learn the practical skills involved in effectively and ethically communicating in different workplace environments and professional communities. Students will plan, organize, produce and edit typical technical writing documents, such as email messages, letters, resumes, memos, reports, proposals, technical descriptions and technical manuals. In addition, students will apply clear, concise and accurate writing style and digital design strategies, including data visualization and other graphics. This course will benefit all students hoping to improve their writing skills and gain practical computer skills for the workplace.
