Description
A continuation of EN 111 with emphasis on developing students as academic writers through critical reading, exploring lines of inquiry; gathering and evaluating academic and nonacademic sources; annotating, synthesizing, and crafting an argument; using sources to support an effective argument; documenting source usage ethically and in line with MLA format. Students who earn below a āCā must repeat the course.
Prerequisite: EN 110 or EN 111 at a grade of āCā or higher; OR Next Generation Accuplacer Writing score of 272 or above OR ACT English sub-score of 26 or above
