    Description

    A continuation of EN 111 with emphasis on developing students as academic writers through critical reading, exploring lines of inquiry; gathering and evaluating academic and nonacademic sources; annotating, synthesizing, and crafting an argument; using sources to support an effective argument; documenting source usage ethically and in line with MLA format. Students who earn below a ā€œCā€ must repeat the course.
    Prerequisite: EN 110 or EN 111 at a grade of ā€œCā€ or higher; OR Next Generation Accuplacer Writing score of 272 or above OR ACT English sub-score of 26 or above
    Offered: Spring semester and as needed in fall semester
