Description
This course is designed to introduce freshmen to college level writing and to prepare them for successful completion of English Composition I and English Composition II. This course focuses on principles of grammar, usage, sentence structure, and concepts of paragraph and essay writing. Required of all students with Next Generation Accuplacer Writing score of 234 or below OR 16 or below on the ACT English sub-score (or its equivalent); does not count in to the 120 hours required for graduation. Students who earn a grade lower than “C” must repeat the course.
