Description

Human Anatomy and Physiology I is part of a two-semester series lecture and laboratory course in which the human body is studied systematically. The complementarity of structure and function and homeostasis are emphasized. Topics considered during the semester include: cell transport, tissues, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, and nervous system. Human cadavers and other nonhuman specimens are used in dissection. Lecture three hours per week and laboratory three hours per week.
