Description
Overview of major organismal, evolutionary and ecological topics in biology including evolution, diversity of life on earth, plant and animal form and function, and ecology. The course also discusses how life evolved to meet changing conditions on the planet. Lecture three hours per week and laboratory two hours per week.
Corequisite: BL 200
Offered: Fall semester
NOTE: Students must pass the course with a "C" or higher to advance to BI 201 Principles of Biology II.
